National MSME Conclave and Exhibition in Defence Sector
“Enhanced Participation of MSMEs in Defence Sector”
11 – 12 September 2022, Dussehra Ground, Kota, Rajasthan
In the run up to the Defexpo India 2022, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence in association with Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM), is organising ‘National MSME Conclave and Exhibition in Defence Sector’ on 11 – 12 September 2022 at Dussehra Ground, Kota, Rajasthan.
The primary objective of the Conclave is to:
- Sensitize the MSMEs in state of Rajasthan and nearby states on the Indian defence industry landscape, its on-going structural transformation, emerging long term business opportunities and guide them towards integrating into the supply chain of defence production.
- Connect the MSMEs to the Defence Public Sector Undertakings and OEMs to be a tier-I / tier-II supplier.
- Familiarize industry across the country on the initiatives taken by the Department of Industries, Government of Rajasthan for implementing ‘Ease of Doing Business’.
Shri Om Birla, Hon’ble Speaker of the Lok Sabha has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest and address the august gathering.
The event will witness participation of senior officials from Ministry of Defence, Government of Rajasthan, DPSUs, Private Industries including Large, MSME and Start-ups.
Coinciding with the programme an exhibition of defence products / systems by DPSU’s and private industry having niche technology / product is also planned.
Participation in the Conclave is complimentary. Industry shortlisted by the MoD will be given an opportunity to exhibit.
